Dream Your Non-profit In a Weekend

An Important Guide to Making Your Non-profit Dream a Reality

My business partner, Neesha Mirchandani, and I have met many starry-eyed nonprofit founders. They are passionate about their mission but they don't know how to translate their ideas into a real organization. We also know many who already have nonprofit organizations set up, but they are unable to raise money to stay afloat.

Whether you've already started a nonprofit or you're thinking about starting one, you should go through this course. It takes an hour or two and you can finish it in one weekend. The videos are short and sweet!
If you follow the the steps outlined in the video, we guarantee it will help you clarify your mission and give you the confidence to move forward knowing you are meeting a real need in your community. It may also help you decide that nonprofit is not the right way to go.

Too many nonprofit organizations are set up on weak foundations, and ultimately fail. Nonprofit Visionary Academy is on a mission to reduce the failure rate of nonprofits.

Result You Can Expect: Clarity & Confidence
Implement this simple system exactly as we're showing you, you will (at the very least) know for certain if founding a nonprofit is the right decision for you. You will have also created the name, mission, and purpose of your nonprofit -- if you decided to move forward with it.
Warning: We don't sugar-coat the truth. We tell it like it is #nonprofitnofilter so you don't waste 100+ of hours making the same mistakes most nonprofit founders make. TIME IS THE ONLY ASSET YOU NEVER GET BACK. Avoid all the pitfalls, dangers, and rookie mistakes that most founders typically encounter.
So, without further ado, here’s DREAM YOUR NONPROFIT IN A WEEKEND! Enjoy :-)
In anticipation for your nonprofit dreams,
Shalita and Neesha

Shalita graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a BA in criminology and also holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore.

Mrs. O'Neale founded Fostering Change Network LLC in 2012 as a way to use her 13 years of experience in launching, building and sustaining non-profit organizations and non-profit programs to help other Non-profit Visionaries do the same. She has also been heavily involved in child welfare training and advocacy and connecting young professionals with foster care histories, like herself, through local and national professional networking events. Her desire to help adults from foster care secure resources that will allow them to contribute to the economic development in their communities led her to found the Fostering Change Network Foundation- a non-profit organization that will provide Pay It Forward Loans and micro-grants to alumni businesses, non-profits and other professional endeavors of financially distressed alumni.

She is also Founder of Hope Forward, Inc.(formerly the Maryland Foster Youth Resource.); a non-profit organization launched in 2008 to connect transitioning and former foster youth to housing, financial assistance, health care and others who have experienced foster care. Through Shalita’s grant-writing skills and relationships with local Foundation funders and key community figures, she has been able raise over $2 million for this non-profit over the past 8 years.
